Welcome to the 2024 Mr. and Miss. Opulence Pageant registration. The Opulence pageant is not just a beauty pageant, but a pageant that seeks to develop the intellectual and social skills of our youth. We believe that true beauty comes from within, and that is why we are committed to helping contestants prioritize their education, community involvement, and personal growth. We want to inspire young people to think about their future and to strive for excellence in all aspects of their lives. Our pageant provides a unique platform for contestants to showcase their talents and intellect, as well as their values. We believe that by highlighting these qualities, we can help to create role models for young people to look up to. We hope that through our pageant, we can inspire young people to become leaders in their communities and to make a positive impact in the world around them. Contestants will be judged on but not limited to these categories.

1. Future career costume - Introducing themselves and what they plan to be when they grow up.

2. African American historic figure speech - Contestants will need to choose a historic black figure to recognize and prepare a brief speech about the said historical figure. Listing why they chose that person and their contribution to the African-American community.  

3.Talent - Contestants will need to perform a talent (If your child doesn't have a performable talent we recommend having them recite a poem by an African American poet. They may also write their own poem.)  Please see the following page for more in-depth details on all categories they'll be judged on. The Mr. and Miss Opulence Pageant will be held at the Jones High School Auditorium on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at 2:00 pm. Entry Deadline: January 10, 2024 All entries must apply by the deadline. Late entries will be allowed until Friday, January 15, 2024, and must accompany a $20.00 late fee. Under NO circumstance will applications be accepted after. Entry is limited to 9-14-year-olds; the child MUST reside in Orlando or surrounding areas.
